Typical construction scrap

- Metal profiles, pipes and conduits.

- Aluminium frames and cladding offcuts.
How pickups are arranged
Pickup arrangements depend on quantity, site access, loading and project schedules. Large piles may need a loader or crane; smaller quantities can sometimes be hand-loaded. Active sites may restrict vehicle movement to certain hours, so share these rules early.
Keep your pile ready
- Keep metal apart from timber, plastic and rubble.
- Stack rebar by length where possible and keep it away from walkways.
- Mark any items that must stay on site.
- Cover piles that are exposed to weather if directed by site rules.
- Prepare a contact on site for access and signing in.
Safety notes
Rebar ends and offcuts can cause serious cuts. Use gloves, safety boots and eye protection, and never climb on loose piles. Make sure vehicles can reach the pile without crossing soft ground or uncovered excavations.
