Industrial & Commercial Scrap Removal

Factory Scrap Clearance for Unused Equipment and Metal Waste

Factories continuously generate offcuts and retire equipment. Without a plan, scrap piles up, blocks walkways and creates hazards. A structured clearance helps keep production areas tidy and safe.

What factory clearance can cover

  • Metal offcuts, cut-outs and trimmings from production.
  • Redundant machinery, tooling and fixtures.
  • Old racks, frames and platforms.
  • Damaged or obsolete electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Accumulated mixed scrap from storage areas.

Pre-clearance assessment

A short assessment avoids surprises on the day. We will usually ask for photographs and, where practical, a site description. For larger jobs a site visit may be discussed. The aim is to identify the volume, the metals involved and any items needing special handling.

Inventory and scheduling

  1. Walk the site and list areas holding scrap.
  2. Mark items that must stay, such as equipment still in use.
  3. Estimate weights and note anything oily, pressurised or electrical.
  4. Agree a window that suits production, security and safety teams.
  5. Confirm how vehicles will enter, load and leave.

Access and loading

Share gate dimensions, loading dock heights, internal turning space and any restrictions on vehicle type. Mention whether forklifts or cranes are available on site. Good access can significantly reduce the time needed to complete a clearance.

Timing is discussed for each project. Dates and availability are confirmed with you, never assumed.
